News settings

The following parameters may be customized:

News settings may be changed in the “Terminal settings” window.

News receiving

The parameters of news subscription may be changed in “Terminal settings” window:

  1. Go to the “News” tab.
  2. Put/remove the tick in the “Enable news” checkbox.

  3. Confirm the changes by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.

Depending on server settings, newsletter may be charged (see the "News subscription payment" subsection).

News subscription payment

News may be provided both for free and for a fee paid over a specified period.

If the newsletter is charged, the “News subscription payment” window will appear.

To pay for the newsletter, press ”Pay”. To reject payment and receiving news, press “Turn news off”.

The button named “'Don't ask again, keep subscribing on automatically” will stop this window from displaying in the future and renew subscription automatically.

If you close the window in a different way, a confirmation window will appear. Confirm refusal by pressing “OK” or press “No” to return to the previous window.

Automatic subscription may be set in the “Terminal settings” window by doing as follows:

  1. Go to the “News” tab.
  2. Put/remove the tick in the “Keep subscribe on automatically” checkbox.

  3. Confirm the changes by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.

Saving news

News saving parameters may be set in the Terminal settings” window:

  1. Go to the “News” tab.
  2. In the “News history” area:

    • Choose a time-limit of local storing from the “News Storage Time” drop-down list.
    • Set the maximum number of news messages stored locally in the “News max in memory” drop-down list.
  3. Confirm the changes by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.

Note: When reducing the number of stored news messages, other messages are deleted for good and cannot be received from the server.

News loading

The number of downloaded news stories can be customized in the “Terminal settings” window:

  1. Go to the “News” tab.
  2. Define the number of downloaded news in the drop-down list named “News downloaded depth when connected”.

  3. Confirm the changes by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.
