How to apply a chart template

Chart templates are applied:

• When customizing an opened chart window.
• When customizing a new chart window.

How to customize an opened chart window

To customize an opened chart window right-click in it and press “Templates –> ”.

How to customize a new chart window

To customize a new chart window:

1. Go to “Settings –> Terminal” in the menu bar.
2. In the “Terminal settings” window press the “Chart” tab.
3. Select the necessary template.
4. Confirm by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.

How to create a chart template

To create a chart template:

1. Right-click a chart window and press “Templates –> Save the chart as a template…”
2. Enter a new template name. To save a template under an existing name choose one from the “Existing templates” list.
3. Save the template by pressing “OK”.

If the name matches to one of existing names a modal window will appear. It will offer to replace the existing template with a new one. Press “Yes” to confirm or “No” to cancel operation.

How to rename a chart template

To rename a chart template:

1. Go to “Settings –> Chart templates…” in the menu bar.
2. Double-click the corresponding name.
3. Enter a new name.
4. Confirm by pressing “OK”.

Note: only a user's template may be renamed. A system template cannot be renamed.

How to delete a chart template

To delete a chart template:

1. Go to “Settings –> Chart templates…” in the menu bar.
2. Choose the necessary template.
3. Press “Delete”.
4. Confirm by pressing “Yes”.
5. Close the window by pressing “OK”.

Note: only a user's template may be deleted. A system template cannot be deleted.

How to manage the chart templates list

To manage the chart templates list:

1. Go to “Settings –> Chart templates…” in the menu bar.
2. Choose the necessary template.
3. Change template location by pressing “Up” or “Down”. The template location in the list affects its disposition in other lists.
4. Change template visibility by marking the “Visible” field. The template visibility in the list determines whether it is visible or not in other lists. Press “All on” to make all templates visible. Press “All off” to make all templates invisible.
5. Confirm by pressing “OK”.

How to reset chart templates to defaults

To reset chart templates to defaults:

1. Go to “Settings –> Chart templates…” in the menu bar.
2. Press “Reset the system’s templates”.
3. Confirm by pressing “Yes”.
