How to create a workspace template

To create a workspaces template:

  1. Go to “File –> Workspaces –> Save current workspace as a template…” in the menu bar.
  2. Enter a new template name. To save a template under an existing name choose one from the “Existing templates” list.
  3. Save the template by pressing “OK”.

If the name matches to one of existing names a modal window will appear. It will offer to replace the existing template with a new one. Press “Yes” to confirm or “No” to cancel.

How to rename a workspace template

To rename a template:

  1. Go to “Settings –> Workspace templates…” in the menu bar.
  2. Double-click the corresponding name.
  3. Enter a new name.
  4. Confirm by pressing “OK”.

Note: only a user's template may be renamed. A system template cannot be renamed.

How to delete a workspace template

To delete a workspace template:

  1. Go to “Settings –> Workspace templates…” in the menu bar.
  2. Choose the necessary template./li>
  3. Press “Delete”.
  4. Confirm by pressing “Yes”.
  5. Close the window by pressing “OK”.

Note: only a user's template may be deleted. A system template cannot be deleted.

How to manage the workspace templates list

To manage workspaces templates list:

  1. Go to “Settings –> Workspace templates…” in the menu bar.
  2. Choose the necessary template.
  3. Change template location by pressing “Up” or “Down”. The template location in the list affects its disposition in other lists.
  4. Change template visibility by marking the “Visible” field. The template visibility in the list determines whether it is visible or not in other lists. Press “All on” to make all templates visible. Press “All off” to make all templates invisible.
  5. Confirm by pressing “OK”.

How to reset workspace templates to defaults

To reset templates to defaults:

  1. Go to “Settings –> Workspace templates…” in the menu bar.
  2. Press “Reset the system’s templates”.
  3. Confirm by pressing “Yes”.
