Replacing Objects during the Import Procedure
Importing settings of the system that already has certain settings configured, situations when some of the imported objects conflict (match partially) with already existing settings may be occurred. In this case user may choose one of the following variants:
- Ignore the existing object – in this case the object will not be imported and the existing object version will be saved in settings.
- Replace object – In this case the existing object will be replaced by an object from the import file.
Export/Import objects are considered matched when this condition is fulfilled:
- General terminal settings: are always matched (since they exist in one exemplar).
- Login: matched (insensitive)
- Login workspace: matched (insensitive).
- Workspace template: template name is matched (insensitive).
- Chart templates: template name is matched (insensitive).
- Charts and fonts templates: template name is matched (insensitive).
