Charts
Historical quotes of trading instruments are displayed in charts. Chart window layouts, chart types, timeframes together with some other parameters are customizable.
Apart from quotes, charts may also display auxiliary data such as Indicators (see «Indicators» {hyperlink to the «Indicators» section}), graphical objects (see «Indicators»), graphical objects (see «Graphical objects»), open positions (see «Trading»), orders (see «Pending Orders») etc.
Chart windows may have different panes with the one displaying quotes and other areas showing technical indicators, if they were set. Pane’s height is adjusted by moving the horizontal splitter between them.
One of the panes in a chart window is always active and user-selectable. If an operation, carried out by a user, corresponds to a separate area, it will be applied to the active pane of a chart.
