How to open an instrument chart
To open an instrument chart right-click the necessary line in the “Market watch” window and press “Chart –>
How to open a Chart %
To open a Chart % window:
- To open an instrument chart right-click the necessary line in the “Market watch” window and press “Chart % …”.
- In the “Chart % Parameters” choose up to 10 instruments to examine from the “Instruments” tree.
- Set the following parameters:
- “Period”
- “Interval”
- Confirm by pressing “OK”.
How to customize a Chart %
A Chart % may be customized in the “Chart % Parameters” window. To open it right-click in a Chart % window and press “Parameters”.
How to customize chart layout
The following parameters are customizable:
- Type
- Timeframe
- Scale
- Autoscroll to market
- Indent
- Grid
- Info panel
Type
To change chart type press the corresponding buttons: “Bars chart”, “Candles chart” or “Lines chart”. They are located on the “Chart main” toolbar.
Only the current instrument chart will be customized.
Timeframe
To change a timeframe press the necessary button in the “Chart timeframes” toolbar.
Scale
To change a scale press the necessary zooming buttons in the “Chart main” toolbar.
To switch on/off automatic scaling by price click “Chart auto price scale” in the “Chart main” toolbar.
Autoscroll to market
To switch on/off automatic scrolling to market press the “Chart autoscroll to market” in the “Chart main” toolbar.
Automatic scrolling is available only for instrument charts.
Indent
To switch on/off an indent mode press the “Chart indent” in the “Chart main” toolbar.
Indent mode is available only for instrument charts.
Grid
To show or hide chart grid click the necessary button in the “Chart main” toolbar.
Position and order levels
If you want to show/hide positions, orders and alerts right-click a chart window and press the necessary buttons: “Show –> Position”, “Show –> Orders” and “Show –> Alerts”.
Ask and Bid
If you want to show/hide ask and bid lines right-click a chart window and press the necessary buttons: “Show –> Bid Line” and “Show –> Ask Line”.
Info panel
To switch on/off info panel right-click in a Chart % window and press “Show –> Info Panel”.
The option is available only for Chart % windows.
To customize chart window layout chart templates may also be applied.
How to switch on/off chart synchronization
To switch on/off synchronous scrolling right-click an instrument chart window and press “Sync mode”
To turn off synchronous scrolling for all charts right-click in any instrument chart window and press “Finish sync session”.
How to export chart window contents
To export contents do as follows, depending on a desired result:
- Right-click in a chart window and press “Export –> To image file…”
- Right-click in a chart window and press “Export –> Image to clipboard”.
- Right-click in a chart window and press “Export –> Send image by e-mail…”
How to customize chart history depth
To customize chart history depth:
- Go to “Settings –> Terminal” in the menu bar.
- In the “Terminal settings” window go to the “Chart” tab.
- Set the following parameters:
- “Charts history depth [Bar]”
- “Reduce history”
- Confirm by pressing “OK” or “Apply”
How to delete chart history
To delete chart history:
- Go to “Settings –> Terminal” in the menu bar.
- In the “Terminal settings” click the “Chart” tab.
- Press one of the buttons:
- “Reduce history depth to preset value”.
- “Delete all history”.
- Confirm by pressing “OK” or “Apply”.
