Setting chart timeframes
Setting chart timeframes
The terminal allows setting a certain period of time (timeframes) for grouping quotes in the “Bars”, “Candles” and “Lines” charts. If you are setting a timeframe for a tick chart, grouping cannot be applied: every point of the tick chart corresponds to a single quote (tick).
To set a timeframe, do one of the following:
- Click the required button in the “Chart timeframes” toolbar.
- Press “Interval –> <Interval>” after right-clicking in a chart window.
- Go to “Chart –> Interval –> <Interval>” in the menu bar.
- Click “Chart % –> Interval –> <Interval>” in the menu bar (for setting a timeframe in Chart %).
