Working off-line

The terminal supports off-line mode (disconnected from the trade server). When working off-line, a chart of an instrument displays only the data received over the latest uninterrupted time interval. Operations that require connection to the server (trading, placing pending orders, logging in, etc.) are unavailable in off-line mode.

To switch to off-line mode, do one of the following:

• Go to “File –> Work off-line” in the menu bar. If the terminal is already off-line, this option will be unavailable.
• Go to the “Navigator” window, right-click a login and press “Work off-line”. This option will be unavailable for a login currently disconnected or in case there is no connection to the trade server.

To restore the connection to the trade server, do one of the following:

• Go to “File –> Work on-line” in the menu bar. If the terminal is already on-line, this option will be unavailable.
• Go to the “Navigator” window, right-click a login and press “Work on-line”. This option will be unavailable for a login currently connected or in case there is a connection to the trade server.
